RSA Agent Windows 7.4.2 and SID800 Tokens

Jump to solution

When upgrading to RSA Agent for Windows 7.4.2 is the AuthClient 3.6 still required to be installed to support smart card style logins and token code pass through?

Yes, the RSA Authentication Client, RAC runs in the RSA Control Center and support SmartCard management, so if you update the RSA Authentication Agent for Windows to v. 7.4.2 the RAC will still be in the RSA Control Center, but if you uninstall the agent, and fresh install the 7.4.2 agent, you would have to check is RAC components are still in the RSA Control Center - you might need to re-install RAC.

If I have the RSA Authentication Agent for Windows and AuthClient 3.6 it seems to crash windows. Is there a solution for this so I can use the Smart Card and/or Cloud Auth?
