Jump to solution

RSA Authentication Appliance has two power supplies. One is solid green and the other is flashing green. Does this indicate the power supply is going bad?

Without knowing the make/model/version, typically this is what is happening:

(would need to know more details about the specific system to be sure):

What is happening when I see a blinking green Power Supply Status LED?

  • One blink per second means that the power supply is off, or in cold redundancy. Cold redundancy means one power supply is in an efficient low-power state, and it is not activated until it is needed.
