RSA MAC Check Failed while Importing Tokens

Hi,

Since last 2 days I am trying to import the token into the RSA but I am keep getting MAC Check Failed error see attached picture.

Kindly guide  how to import and then assign the token to the users as well. Bear in mind LDAPS in place between RSA and domain.

Your concrete help / guidance is much appriciated in advance.

Gary Cooke‌,

I've moved your question to the RSA SecurID Access space where it will be seen by the product's support engineers, other customers and partners.  Please bookmark this page and use it when you have product-specific questions.

Alternatively, from the RSA Customer Support page, click on Ask A Question on the blue navigation bar and choose Ask A Product Related Question.  From there, scroll to RSA SecurID Access and click Ask A Question.  That way your question will appear in the correct space.

As to the error you are seeing when you import your tokens, our knowledge base article https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-47011 references the error and to confirm you are using the correct password.  If it still does not work, the suggestion is to contact RSA Customer Support.

Regards,

Erica

Either wrong password or someone edited the XML file and the file itself is corrupt.

The password is the 'batch import password' that belongs to the token seeds, example in bold:

Token Record File Batch Import Password
=====================================================

320027296_20_1_TOKEN.xml MWKGDQ2YV6F43BX6

in my example

the file this password is in, is 320027296_20_1_TOKEN_PASSWORD.txt
