RSA SecurID Integration with OWA - IIS Service needs to be restarted frequently

Hello,

 

I have integrated RSA SecurID with Microsoft Exchange for OWA.

Before integrating we didn't needed to restart the IIS Service, but as we have deployed RSA IIS Web Agent 8.0 on exchange server CAS, we are getting "Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The Service is unavailable". Error.

Although when we are restarting the IIS service using iisreset, the problem is getting solved, but it is happening very frequently. The service goes down and gives us this error. We do iisreset and the problem is solved. Similar thing was happening with RSA Config Service, which should be automatically started, but we need to manually start this service.

 

Can you please let me know what could be the issue?

Hello Christopher,

 

We applied all the hotfixes you provided based on the OS. But still the problem of RSA Config Service was there.

We contacted the RSA Support and they provided me with a hotfix for the IIS Web Agent 8.0. This hotfix solved our problem.
