RSA Software Token install wipes out Windows 10 PATH environment variable
On a current Windows 10 v1909 install, the RSA SecurID Software Token install wipes out the Windows PATH environment variable and replaces it with just "C:\Program Files\RSA SecurID Token Common\" instead of appending to it. Using current install of 5.0.2.440. Happens on multiple computers.

Engineering knows about this, there is a Jira Bug
SWTDT-1813 - SWTDT 5.0.2.440 install overwrites Path Environment Variable on Win10
There is a coded fix but it's not in a patch yet. I'll update the Jira that a customer was asking

Also note: about the path defect...
This affects the User Path and not the System Path.
If you add additional directories to the path after installation, an uninstallation will clear the entire path.

Sorry, is this a joke? I downloaded the software last week and it wiped my user PATH. This ticket is a year old. How is it still possible to download a version of the software with such a severe bug?
Update: Sorry, the version is probably really old. So it's the vendors fault I guess.
Update2: Maybe not? What is the current version. I have 5.0.2 and that seems to be the most recent one?
