RSAADMIN password different on Replica?
I inherited an Authentication Manager 8.1 system with a fairly simple setup, 1 primary and 1 replica running as virtual appliances. In trying to get the system updated, I checked to make sure all my requisites are met, and stumbled across this one:
the rsaadmin password I have works for access to the Primary instance, but not the Replica instance. Is this account not synchronized during replication?
I see the TID on how to reset the password, and I was about to embark on that path but figured that I would pose the question first before I tried something that broke both instances.
Thanks,
Michael

Yes rsaadmin password can be different on the Primary and its attached replica(s).
The rsaadmin password is instance dependent and is not a replicated user account. It is configured during performing the quick setup of a particular AM instance.

Thank you for your prompt reply!
I will start the process of rebooting the VM to change the rsaadmin password to match my primary.
Thanks again,
Michael
