Can you provide more information on the error you are seeing? Which RSA authentication product are you using (an RSA Authentication Agent , a macOS or Windows authenticator , our Cloud Authentication Service , the RSA MFA agent, the SecurID authentication client, an iOS, Android, macOS or Windows software authenticator, the SecurID software token for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows)? At what point in the authentication process do you see the error? Is this a new product install?
It may be helpful for you to open a support case with one of our technical support engineers to help you to troubleshoot your issue.
This error started happening all of the sudden, have tried running repair and also reinstalled the software.
Now the error is coming up while installing the software.
Using the link you provided, I was able to successfully install the RSA SecurID Software Token 5.0.2 for Microsoft Windows on a Windows 10 Enterprise machine.
Definitely open a support case. I did a quick review of previous cases and our knowledge database and did not come across any cases with the error you are reporting. If you open a case we can assist by reviewing logs and getting additional information such as your OS, if you chose a Typical or Custom installation option, etc. that will determine cause and best course of action to resolve your issue.
