Smart Card (sid800) unlock PIN

After obtaning a the PIN Unlocking Key for an RSA SecurID 800 Authenticator, User try to write his new PIN but a error message appears in "RSA Control Center" utility :

You exceeded the number of attempts allowed for the PIN Unblock process. You can no longer unblock this athenticator.

What does it mean? Can I try to reset PIN later? Do I have to replace token? Can I erase smart card to use it again?
