SMS On-Demand Tokens using Twillio

Jump to solution

Hi,

My company has a contract open with Twillio, who supplied an SMS solution for a seperate application.  Since my company has a relationship with Twillio and they appear to offer SMS messages to be sent via HTTP, I thought they could also be used for sending SMS On-Demand Token.

I couldn't find any documentation on the RSA website regarding Twillio and they don't seem to listed on the RSA Ready page (RSA Ready), which has configuration for other service providers.

Does this mean that SMS service providers not listed on the RSA Ready page will not work or are they just not supported?  Has anyone used Twillio for SMS On-Demand Tokens and if so, please share your config settings?

Thanks,

David

RSA has not tested/certified it (hence why it's not on RSA Ready) but it does not mean it will not work for On-Demand token delivery. If you get it to work with Authentication Manager (AM), Support would be provided on a best-effort basis.

Dear David,

Although it is not RSA Ready, you can use it for the purpose of SMS Delivery. We've also implemented such a scenario where, RSA SecurID  connect to internally developed HTTP API which in turn send the messages via SMS Gateways over SMPP.
