Software tokens expiring, is there an option to renew the tokens or do we buy new tokens?

Hi Steve, unfortunately then you must purchase new tokens. There's no way to extend them in 8.1. When you receive the new tokens you can import them and then assign them to users as a replacement tokens (which will carry over the PIN) and then issue them the new token.

Generally when the tokens expire you need to purchase new ones. However a new feature that comes with Authentication Manager 8.2 is "long-life" software tokens. Basically you're able to extend the life of software tokens that have been issued from an 8.2 system.

Brian,

Thanks for the information. We are still at 8.1.
