Token Import

I recently received a new seed pack for tokens that our company had purchased. Unfortunately I have not performed the task to import these to the RSA Appliance before, and the prior individual is no longer with the company. What is the process for this?

David Harwell‌,

I've moved your question to the RSA SecurID Suite‌, so it is seen by people using the product.

Before importing the token seeds into your Authentication Manager server, please review the  000029318 - Information on the RSA SecurID protected delivery program and how it will impact the token record media decryption process for customers.  Once your token packs are registered with RSA, you can complete the steps on how to Import a Token Record File into your Authentication Manager server.

Once the files are imported, you then need to assign tokens to your users, so follow the  links at the bottom of that article for detailed steps.

Erica

Erica, thank you for the reply. I have followed these steps to the letter, but each token import job errors out, with no actual descriptive of the error that was incurred, thus my "brick wall".

David Harwell‌,

I am sorry that you continue to  have an issue with the tokens.  If you completed the token pack registration process, I'd recommend that you Contact RSA Customer Support on Monday and open a case.  One of our TSEs can assist you by reviewing why the token import failed and get the issue resolved.

Regards,

Erica
