Token migration to new RSA setup

Jump to solution

we have created new setup of RSA which will use IS1 domain.

now this IS1 is configured in old RSA setup with one more directory IS2.

if i take export of users and tokens and import to new RSA which is not live in production, uses IS1. and not deleting existing IS1 from old RSA setup, will it hamper authentication in existing RSA setup which uses both IS1 and IS2?

There shall be NO impact on the existing authentications in existing RSA setup which uses both IS1 and IS2 due to export of tokens and users.

after exporting we are importing to new setup. existing will remain same, no removal of users/tokens there.

will it impact?

No impact shall be there on the source token server if the tokens are exported from it and then imported to another target deployment

in target setup users with assigned authenticators limit is 1000 only. it can be seen on license status page.

but in existing setup there are approx 3000 users with tokens which will be migrated to target setup.

if are importing users with tokens in target setup, will it cause issue , how we can avoid that?
