upgrade from 8.4 to 8.6

I am new to RSA Authentication Manager software

I need to upgrade from 8.4 to 8.6 

Is there a cost for the 8.6 software?

With current maintenance, there is no cost to upgrade your Authentication Manager server, download patches, agents, authenticators, etc.

This documentation explains the upgrade path from Authentication Manager 8.4 to Authentication Manager 8.6 or Authentication Manager 8.7.

Important note: Authentication Manager 8.6 changes from Steel Belted RADIUS to FreeRADIUS, so if you have RADIUS clients you must run the RSA Authentication Manager 8.6 Pre-Upgrade Check Tool after upgrading from 8.5 but before installing 8.6.
