Upgrade path from 8.2 to 8.6
We've been stuck on AM 8.2 while other works have been ongoing, and now ready to bring ourselves up to date. We want to go to the latest available and the then subsequent upgrade to 8.7 which will likely be released by the time the planning is complete.
I've seen from other threads the upgrade path is:
8.2.1.0.0
8.3.0.0.0
8.4.0.0.0
Does this still apply, and if so are there any additional necessary steps to go from the 8.4 to 8.6? Article 000037201 stops at 8.4 but other threads imply a similar stepping stone work for later versions. Jumping over any would be a huge time saver for approval windows.
Our environment is simply one primary and one replica.
Thanks

Welcome to the RSA community!
This documentation explains the upgrade path from Authentication Manager 8.2 to Authentication Manager 8.7.
Authentication Manager 8.6 changes from Steel Belted RADIUS to FreeRADIUS, so if you have RADIUS clients you must run the RSA Authentication Manager 8.6 Pre-Upgrade Check Tool after upgrading from 8.5 but before installing 8.6.
Best regards,
Erica
