Can you use the same soft token in 2 separate RSA environments/databases?

Yes, but...
if you have a token, e.g. SN = 000123456789, and import that Token Seed into two different Primaries, they could be your Production and your Test sites, or they could be completely different companies a world apart, these tokens in two different systems do not know about each other, they have no connection, no synchronization. So they could be assigned to users with different names, who would each set unique PINs. If these are software tokens, and you distribute them, separately from each primaries, they may not even produce the same tokencodes at the same time. But they would have the same serial number, which would confuse users if these two systems interacted in any fashion, e.g. with Trusted realm connections, or if you exported users and tokens from one of these system and imported into the other.

Thanks. My problem is trying to use the same soft token from both environments on the same users iPhone. I was not able to use the same one for both.
