Using systemd to start httpd
Hello,
I have installed the Web Agent (8.06) on a RedHat 7.9 machine. It seems to be working ok. However, I have not been successful trying to use systemd to manage httpd.
If I start httpd manually with httpd -k start, the aceapi_rpc_server starts and all seems good.
However, if I use systemctl start httpd, the aceapi_rpc_server does not start. I have set the needed env vars via a drop-in env.conf file for the httpd service unit, and they do show up via systemctl show httpd |grep Env.
I also tried adding a '-k start' to the OPTIONS var based on a post I found in this forum that suggested the -k is required.
No luck so far...would be grateful for any suggestions, thank you.

I just called RSA, and it was something that they needed to do to approve my account access. The support person did that for me, so I will be opening a case about this issue on the portal.

Thank you. I would love to do that, but I get "Access not permitted" when I try to "Create new case." I just registered yesterday, so not sure if I have to wait on some kind of approval on RSA's end, or if it is some other issue.

The site does not recognize you as an RSA customer or partner. This can happen when registering for RSA Link, if the option for I am a customer or partner was not selected.
The fix for the error is simple, simply re-register for RSA community using the same email address and place a check in the box this time. You will be prompted to provide a serial number, site ID, or contract number to complete the registration process.
Best regards,
Erica

I am glad to hear that everything is sorted out with your access to the community. I also see that you have an open case that is being worked. You are in great hands with your TSE!
