WebTier Web Page Not Found, but Able to Distribute Token via CT-KIP

WebTier Version 8.2.1.7 has a web page not found (404 error), while successfully performing token import via CT-KIP. We recently upgraded to AM8.2SP1 Patch 7 and noticed that one of the WebTiers is throwing a 404 error when accessing the Self Service Console. We attempted to distribute a new soft token and import it via CT-KIP protocol and it worked. What is the reason for this condition and how can we bring the WebTier web server back online?

When you upgraded the Authentication Manager, it may be from a version that required the upgrade of the Web Tier.  If you login to the operations console, you can see the status of the Web Tier and it will tell you if it is operational or if it needs upgrading.  

 

That's a first step in resolving the Web Tier issue
