what is Radius_user_htghk22w? and Can it be deleted?

Jump to solution

I'm running RSA SecurID Appliance AM v 8.4 P13.  I need to account for a new userID which appears in Authentication Manager, "Radius_user_htghk22w".  What is it's use?, and, Can it be deleted?  Thanks

That is a built-in account for the embedded radius engine to perform it's functions. It is only used by radius, and cannot be deleted or the system will break in several ways (backups, radius, setting up replicas, patches...).

It's also unique to each instance of Authentication Manager, created when you deploy the Primary.  It's password is complex, and unique too.
