Where do I download AM Updates

Jump to solution

Where can I obtain instructions on how to update RSA Authentication Manager?

Where can I obtain the actual binary update files? (According to RSA Authentication Manager Updates , I can obtain these things at https://community.rsa.com/community/products/securid but that appears to be false)

Where can I sign up to an email list that will notify me when AM updates are available?

Where can I find a list of AM versions that have been released?

Thank you,

Chris

It is on this site. This site is broken down by versions, and no one page has all

the downloads listed in one place. So, it takes some navigation.

On the main securid page on the right, are these links

pastedImage_1.png

When you click them, you go onto a page dedicated to that version.

From there you click downloads on the right

pastedImage_2.png,

and it brings you to the main page for patches for that version.

At the bottom of that page, if you need full base versions or the upgrade from 8.1 to 8.2, you click additional downloads

and that can navigate you to the full versions.

For a list of all released versions, you can look at the Product Life-cycle page [also called EOPS]

(with list of end-of-support-dates) This is one page with all products and all versions listed out.

Edward,

Thank you for your help.  I found the downloads by following your direction.

I am currently running AM 8.1 and I would like to upgrade to "the latest" version -- which appears to be 8.1.1.5 (although apparently I cannot be sure since there is no single place that lists all the versions -- I have not looked at every page yet).  Which patches and/or SP should I install and in which order should I install them?  Or -- more generally -- can you direct me to upgrade instructions that explain what it is I am to do and in what order?

Thank you again,

Chris

8.1 sp1 (8.1.1.0.0)

then

8.1 sp1 patch 15 (8.1.1.15.0)

finally, the third party patch 2.0 (TPP 2.0)

for some  linuxOS improvements

Or this:

8.1 sp1 (8.1.1.0.0)

then

8.2 update

then

8.2 patch 2 (8.2.0.2.0)
