will making changes to my identity source attributes in the cloud console cause an outage?
I need to make a change to my identity source in order to encompass more containers in AD. If i change the root connection settings will that prevent users from authenticating? if so for how long?

Hi John;
Once you did required changes on Identity source settings, try to test connection manually before save settings then publish changes and do manual synchronization for identity source.
It should not effect on users while the same user ID's still exist in the same format, but you need to ensure if there is any access policy configured using a specific member group before any modifications.
