Windows 2012R2 RDS

Good Afternoon,

We have a Windows 2012R2 Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment and I am looking for documentation on how to implement SecurID Authentication agents on these servers.   Is there any known documentation that will explain how to properly do this since multiple people log into our RDS servers to work and we want them to use the RSA Security Tokens to authenticate.

This is currently an RFE, a Request for Enhancement, meaning it does not work, the functionality is not there.  The RFE Jira is AAIIS-1078 - RFE- RSA Authentication Manager Agent for Web IIS v7.1 - Support for SecurID protecting Microsoft's Remote Desktop Server Service of RDP over https.

If I remember correctly, Development tried this years ago with an IIS agent, and it looked nice, but there was no way to prevent a Credential Provider from being displayed or changed.  This meant users had the option to get at the Microsoft Password Windows Credential Provider, so they could always bypass Passcode requirement, rendering the product useless in terms of protection.
