Issue
When exporting an AFX Connector with enabled capabilities and importing the connector to the same system or to another system, the capabilities are no longer enabled.
Cause
This occurs if the connector capabilities had no mappings defined when the connector definition was exported.
When using AFX, the capabilities require mappings. The exception to this is when using a provisioning node in a fulfillment workflow. When using a provisioning node, the AFX capabilities need to be enabled but no mappings are required.
This is a known defect reported in engineering ticket ACM-76107 as the import of connectors did not consider this use case.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1.
Workaround
When enabling AFX capabilities for use with a provisioning node, define dummy mappings for each capability. The mappings will not be used but this will allow the exported connector definition to be imported on another system and enable the capabilities.
