Summary:A component within RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle and RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance requires a security update to address a vulnerability.
Details:

The Apache commons-fileupload component has been updated to address the CVE-2016-1000031 vulnerability.

Recommendation:

The following RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle and RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance releases contain resolutions to this vulnerability:

  • RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.1.0: 7.1.0, P06 or later
  • RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.2: 7.0.2, P12 or later
  • RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.1:  Requires upgrading to 7.0.2, P12 or later
  • RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance version 7.0:  Requires upgrading to 7.0.2, P12 or later

Customers can obtain the documentation and software by downloading them from the Downloads area (RSA Downloads Area ) in the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle space of RSA Link.

 

RSA recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
