Note: - Only Hardware appliance deployment with Dell R630/R730 (13G) servers as part of an RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle product solution are affected.

Summary:Dell EMC iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) in RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, and RSA IMG hardware-based appliances, requires a security update to address a vulnerability. which may potentially be exploited to compromise the affected systems.
Details:

An integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) is an embedded management platform in PowerEdge servers used in RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle, RSA Via Lifecycle and Governance, and RSA IMG hardware-based appliances. iDRAC provides browser-based and command-line interfaces for managing and monitoring the server hardware.

 

Dell EMC iDRAC has been updated to address the following vulnerabilities:

Recommendation:

RSA recommends customer using a firmware version before 2.70.70.70 to upgrade to the latest version 2.70.70.70. This firmware has been qualified for use by our product for the affected hardware appliance platforms (R630 & R730) with iDRAC8.
