With RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle version 7.5, you can now deploy the application as a Docker container. This enables easy deployment, the ability to quickly stand-up an instance, and as well quickly test and upgrade to a newer (container provided) version. The Docker container contains the operating system, application server and the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle solution. The Access Fulfillment Express (AFX) and the database components are not packaged as part of the Docker container and will have to be installed separately according to product installation documentation.
There is no provision to customize the ear with Docker. To remove the need for customization, we have provided support to upload jars required for collectors and workflows through UI. Please inform RSA if there are any other specific EAR customizations for future product improvement considerations.
Clustering of the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle application docker containers is also supported.
