Summary:
RSA announces the release of RSA Authentication Agent 8.0.3 for Web:
- RSA Authentication Agent 8.0.3 for Web for IIS 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, and 10
- RSA Authentication Agent 8.0.3 for Web for Apache Web Server version 2.2.x and 2.4.x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 (32-bit and 64-bit) and 7.1.x (64-bit)
For IIS, version 8.0.3 includes security fixes and other software updates. This release provides two new features:
- Windows web applications sometimes require nonstandard URLs that don’t support cookies, and Web Agent blocks these URLs because they cannot be verified. Web Agent 8.0.3 allows you to register these nonstandard URLs so that the Web Agent can accept them.
- The standard Web Agent logging feature requires local administrator or local system privileges. If a web application is associated with Application Pools that do not provide sufficient privileges, then version 8.0.3 allow you to update the Windows Registry to enable Web Agent logging.
For Apache, RSA qualified the Web Agent version 8.0.2 and 8.0.3 with Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 or later (64-bit only) with Apache 2.4.x.
