LSDATA Statistics Info

Discussion created by RSA Admin Employee on May 2, 2012
I attempted to use LSDATA to find the amount of storage each device was using in the SAN. I used the following command: lsdata -statistics totalsByDevice -time 20110502000000 20120503000000 -devices * The times are based on 1 year - we run a daily lsmaint to remove older entries. This generated a file with total bytes, avg eps, etc. for each device. However, the totals seem to be drastically off. It indicates my largest device is using 1.5 TB of Am I missing the point of this report, or did I run with the wrong parameters? What is the best way to find the devices using the most storage? Cheers, Grant
