Hello Nifras,
There is no need to put a username and password. You can use the link for the QuickSetup link and enter the quick setup access code afterwards using your browser from where you can have access on that machine in order to start with the setup.
So kindly check and advise us back if there is any assistance needed from our side.
Best Regards,
Hi,
I have tried with
rsa login: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/
and password as access code. But it failed not loged in.
Hi, just to confirm, you hit the url and then input 'password' as the value at the prompt? If so, that is incorrect. You must input the 'Quick Setup Access Code:' from the console on the appliance. See screen shot below for example. This is displayed on the console of the VMware Appliance or a connected monitor to a hardware appliance.
You're on the wrong page, it should only be asking for the quick setup code. Please take a screenshot of what you are looking at so we can confirm.
Hi Nifras,
You haven't setup OS credential yet.
Please open a browser and enter https://172.16.147.128 to proceed Quick Setup
It will prompt you Access Code then enter: 1xkCebFq
You will create OS access credential as a part of Quick Setup process.
Please find the details of how to deploy from RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 Setup and Configuration Guide.
Hope this has helped.
Best regards,
Hi Moses,
When I move to the url on browser https://172.16.147.128 it is not prompt to the quick setup. It is open the window
The Quick setup link https://172.16.147.128 not move there it is not asking the Quick setup Access Code.... What is the Soulution. Do I did any thing wrong.
Nifras,
Is the IP address responding to PING test from your local machine?
If not, please check with your network team for a correct VLAN in VMware or a routing table is set to access from your local machine.
Please open a support case if the issue is persisting.
Thank you for posting the screenshot. Now that you have finished setting up the VM, it's time to run through quick setup. You do not need to login to the linux console under Vmware. You DO need to open a web browser and in the address bar type in https://172.16.147.128 then quick setup will begin.
If you can ping 172.16.147.128 from your workstation, it should load fine. Please post back your results and screenshots of what you get when trying to hit https://172.16.147.128/ from your web browser. Also please note you need to use internet explorer when hitting the site until you have gone through quick setup, then installed SP1 and SP1 P15.
I have try all the way what you are mentioned on the above post. I installed Windows 10 and IE 11 then also try to reset up all things and try getting the Quick Setup Console. But it again and again showing the screen what I have post above.
Here I show the snaps.
1. I used Intenet Explorer Latest Release.
2. I have get this console as shown like above
3. I have got the same wrong page while I trying on the address shown on the console.
What is the Solution for this ? Please help me. I'm out of the timeline to setup this things.
Do you have any other VM's in esxi and if so can you access those Vm's with no issues? It looks like you are assigning the master IP to our VM which is why it's loading the VMware page vs our quicksetup page. Can you show me a screenshot of the networking section under VMware? Something is misconfigured in VMware from the looks of it.
No. I haven't any other VM on ESxi. I does not edit any changes the default
IP settings. If i did any changes on the Master IP it make connection error
to the host.
