I want to make sure that only the Business Owners of a particular application signs-off on a review. For example, If I'm the business owner for an application and a review is created for my application, after the supervisors (Reviewers) perform actions on the entitlements and submit their decisions, I should be able to provide sign-off and the review should be moved to Completed status.
However, the present review definitions are configured in such a way that, Supervisors of the users (Reviewers ) submit their actions and signs-off. Once all the supervisors finishes with Sign-off, Aveksa Admin would go and signs-off and then the review is getting completed. Review definition is configured as below:
Owner: AveksaAdmin (Is it because the review definition created by AveksaAdmin?)
Reviewers: Supervisors review their subordinates (This is fine)
Monitors: Selected Users over the entire review (A user is selected)
Monitors and Business Owners are the same?
Thanks in advance,
DG
Hi Dileep, The review owner will be the review definition owner who is by default the user who created the definition. But it can be set to any user when creating/editing review definition. Changing owner on review definition does not affect already existing reviews. Owner can be changed on review as well at any time.
If you need application business owner to sign off items reviewed by supervisors, you can give sign off privileges in below ways.
1. Make the application business owners as reviewers with sign off privileges.
2. Make the application business owners as monitors with read/write or admin privileges over their assets as shown below
If you do not want supervisors to be signing off on items and want them to just save items, the sign off privilege should be taken off for supervisors while still enabling signoff on review.
