we are doing a license cleanup and when running a user report we have 2 different dates in the last logon with token field, one is 12/31/1985 and the other is blank. what do both of these dates mean?
Here's the clarification Tony, but basically blank and 1985 mean the same thing, but can indicate where they came from; imported into new system or migrated from an old AM 6.1 system
Tokens imported in an Auth Manager 6.1 (or earlier) database were assigned a birth date of 12/31/1985. Upon first authentication with that token, the value was updated to the correct login date.
Tokens imported in an Auth Manager 7.1 database are not assigned a birth date, so until that token is used for authentication, the Last Used to Authenticate field will be blank.
Note Tokens migrated from Auth Manager 6.1 to Auth Manager 7.1 will show the 1985 date if they have never been used for authentication.
That date means the token has not been used yet on this system, so there is no last logon date.
so what does the 12/31/1985 date mean?
Thanks Jay for the info. this cleared up all the confusion
