Hello we have set below due data configuration in approval form. But it seems not functioning. The due date has reached but there approval action is still open and the request has been passed. Are we missing any action?
If you are using the default 'Request Cancelling' workflow, the workflow only seem to contain an Email node that simply sends an email. It does not cancel the change request. If you are looking to cancel the change request, the default escalation workflow 'Cancel Change Request' does that.
You can check if the escalation has triggered or not by looking at the approval and checking for escalation flags at end like below...
I agree with Ramana here.
One more point you have to consider here is that you have configured escalation to fire 1 day after due date. So make sure System date is one day after due date.
