We are preparing to move to Authentication Manager 8. We would like to clean up the Authentication Agents in our V7 environment. Is there a command line capability to delete old Authentication Agents? We have 300 that we do not need to move to V8.

Hi Andrew - you can run jython scripts with rsautil from the command line: ./rsautil jython <script_name>.py
The Auth Manager Admin SDK comes with sample code that includes an example of deleting an agent (see SDK_HOME/samples/admin/src/AdminAPIDemos.py). So there would be a bit of programming work involved on your part to create and process the list of agents but I don't know of an easier way than this.
Andrew,
Since this is a question regarding an agent cleanup prior to migrating to Authentication Manager 8.1, I am moving this post to the RSA SecurID Access board.

Erica
