You will need to upgrade your AM Prime AMIS software. Please contact customer support if you haven't already to open a ticket to get access to the upgrade.
I do not have a specific ticket on this issue just the ticket on troubles with the 8.2 upgrade in general that I was working with Edward Davis on. He helped identify the problem with 8.2 and SSP running from our web tiers. Please provide how I go about the software update to the AM Prime or call me directly at 612-851-7615
I have the same issue after the AM8.2 update in lab. I upgraded all the AM servers from 8.1.15 to AM8.2 then have problems with token import so I also upgraded the web tier. On OC, the web tier now shows online with AM8.2 but the token import still fails for both QR code and CTKIP email link. I've opened a ticket with RSA and waiting for the suggestions. Reading Sean's comment, it looks like that I also need to upgrade AM Prime AMIS after the AM8.2 upgrade. I'm wondering what else I need to upgrade to complete the AM8.2 update. AMBA? and what else? I hope there is a check list for AM8.2 upgrade instead of figuring it out when there is a problem being found.
Test.
install RSA software token for windows on some windows machine that can reach the webtier.
Create a software token profile for RSA desktop 4.x or 5
Assign yourself a token and specifically clear out the deviceserialnumber field, and no password
and no copy protection...just as vanilla as possible. generate a CTKIP URL and activation code
On the software token app, import from web and put in the CTKIP url and activation code on
the second line.
can you pull a token from the webtier ? this will help isolate the issue.
