We have a unique situation where we would like to update a User Attribute if a supervisor revokes an entitlement during an User Access review . Is this at all possible? I'm on 6.9.1 Patch 14.
You could make use of workflows to achieve that. You can customize the workflow that is used by user review change requests to add a SQL execute node that will update the attributes of the user involved in the change request. It may be important to make sure that the workflow is used by just the user access reviews and none other change requests. If you are looking to update for only users in certain user review, there is a mapping stored between review items and change request items (CR_ITEM_ID in T_AV_REVIEW_COMPONENTS table) from which you would be able to determine which review the CR item is coming from.
Hey Philip- you can't immediately do it in the review- however it should be noted that when you revoke something in a review, a change request will fire off, putting you in a workflow where those types of things can happen.
Thanks Venkata and Dan. This is very helpful. I've created an custom user managed attribute and will set the workflow to add a SQL execute node to update the attribute of the user.
