ORA-31625: Schema SYSTEM is needed to import this object, but is unaccessible

Question asked by Philip Martinez on Nov 8, 2016

I performed a clean install of 7.0.1 in my development environment. Ran the Q2 appliance updater for version 7. I'm on a Dell R320 appliance. We have our backups scheduled within the UI to run weekly in Dev. I took the Export_AVDB_avuser2016-11-04-07-33-00.dmp that was created from 6.9.1 Patch 14 and then was following the guide to import it into 7.0.1.

I see some solutions online on how to solve this including granting the user running import the "BECOME USER" privilege. Just seeing if that's the recommended way of solving this.

Step 2
Import of data may take a while depending on size of dump file. See Import_AVDB_avuser.log for progress...
