In RSA Via, from and Account Collector I am receiving rejects, and all I get is Error ID 30079. But I cannot find a reference to what that Error ID means.
Not sure this matches your requirement. Check if this is helpful:
Admin->Admin Errors -> Notification Rules -> Create Rule
You can configure and schedule email notifications that RSA IMG generates for admin errors. For example, you can specify that email notification is sent to one or more users if an error for a particular data collector occurs. Or, you can specify that a rule designer is notified if an error occurs when rules are processed.
I suggest you share some screenshots to clarify what you see
I'm glad someone asked this question because I find those Run IDs & Admin Error messages totally useless. What does Eror ID and RunID refer to? How can I relate this error to actual data? How this Admin Error can assist admins in problem resolution? I couldn't relate Admin Error to anything in raw data. If you can shed some lights on this, that would be great. Thanks
As far as I know, Error Id is just an incremental value for all the errors which are being generated.
Run Id - is the id of the job in which the error occurred.
In the monitoring section, the Run ID is the Run column
With regards to the message - "Reference resolution failed", it means that there were errors while attempting to map accounts to users. The root cause for that should be investigated and understood.
How does one go about investigating this issue? Are there specific things to check to understand what the root cause is?
It can be helpful to start with reviewing the configuration of the collector and then reviewing the collected data
This there a way to configure notifications on a specific admin error for example: If any rejected records may be due to duplicate accounts?
