hi,
i'm on AM 8.2 Patch 5 - whats the difference to AM 8.2 SP1 ?
the doku says that AM8.2 SP1 includes the fixes from AM 8.2 Patch 1 to Patch 3.
when i upgrade to AM8.2 SP1 all the fixes from AM 8.2 Patch 4 to Patch 5 are lost ?
thank you

Olli,
I have the same question. If 8.2 SP1 is applied do we lose updates gained in patch 4 and 5? Maybe one of the engineers can confirm.
Thanks,
Chuck

RSA Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1 includes the software fixes in the cumulative Patch 3 for version 8.2.
Applying version 8.2 SP1 removes any software fixes that are not included in the cumulative Patch 3 for version 8.2.
To obtain these fixes, you must apply version 8.2 SP1 patches as they become available.
You are reading the Release Notes correctly. Applying SP1 loses fixes from 8.2 higher than patch 3. 8.2 SP1 patch 1 will include 8.2 patch 5 fixes.
Chuck,
There is /usr/bin/sha256sum on AM Appliance, so you could do something like
/usr/bin/sha256sum <file>
I think there is a /usr/bin/md5sum too
You'd probably have to Web Search for a utility that runs on Windows, just don't download from a .ru site
Hi Jay,
This is perfect! Exactly what I needed.
rsaadmin@securid:/usr/bin> ./sha256sum /home/rsaadmin/am-update-8.2.0.5.0.zip

Thank You,
