Shared Accounts and Authentication

Question asked by Philip Martinez on May 5, 2017

Is there a way for a shared account to login to Via? For example an Active Directory account is shared among two identity records. Currently when the user tries to logon in the aveksaServer log I show

05/05/2017 15:18:26.756 WARN (default task-7) [com.aveksa.gui.core.ACMLoginLogout] More then 1 users mapped to this account. Shared Account

We have medical professionals who work at multiple hospitals. For each hospital they work at they may have a different supervisor. HR treats each of these as a separate identity record. Working with RSA Professional Services we modeled this, so a single being may have multiple identity records within Via, but still have just one Active Directory account associated to the identity. Because of this the AD account is now shared.

Without purchasing any other tools is there a way for that doctor to login to Via if the Active Directory account is considered shared?
