Just wanted to know if the integration of BMC Remedy ticketing system is OOTB in RSA IMG 7.0 onwards.
As far as I know, there is no out of the box integration with BMC Remedy.
You will have to use the BMC API or G&L API, depends on what type of integration you are trying to achieve.
We will also be integrating the RSA IG&L product with Remedyforce later this year. Our current implementation has manual tasks setup as activities so we will be creating Work Requests in Remedyforce and linking these back to the RSA request number. Plan is to also mark the the RSA request complete once the Remedyforce Work Request is closed... Anyone else planning on a similar implementation and want to discuss I'm open...
is this still in the works. We have a use case where we would like to be able to open a ticket in Remedy and then have the remedy ticket number linked back into G&L for easy reference from an audit perspective.
Yes, this is still in the planning stages as it ended up being delayed
from last year due to resource constraints...
