Hi,
One of our customers is running RSA 8.1 Patch 5 at the moment. They recently patched their Windows 10 machine and since then they are unable to access the Security Console from their IE11 browser. They can only access the console if they check SSL3.0 option in Internet Options.
If they have any other option (TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2) ticked in addition to SSL3.0 then it doesn't work.
I understand that 8.1 Patch 5 supports SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 as well, then why is it working only with SSL3.0?
Thanks,
Mukti
Upgrade to 8.1 sp1 patch 2 at a minimum, and 8.1 will then accept the browser connections.
You can use Firefox 35 or lower to make the initial connections to the operations console in order to install sp1, then sp1 patch 15. I mention 'Firefox portable' as it is bundled per version number, and the portable version does not need to install, it just runs from an .exe.
