Hi, My team has RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 installed 3 years ago. We also purchased two RSA SecurID hardware token for testing purpose.
Our RSA SecurID hardware token will be expired Aug 31, 2017.
With that said, I'd like to renew the Authentication Manager to latest version and get new software token for my team. What do I need to do?
I upload the complaint license information.
Thanks
1) Yes
2) Token will no longer work for authentication, past that expire date on the back. Yes you need
new tokens to continue to authenticate. In an emergency you could use fixed passcodes to get you by,
while you sort out obtaining new tokens, but know fixed passcodes are no stronger than 1 factor password.
3) You can use new hardware tokens on old version 6.1 if needed. But 6.1 was end-of-lifed and we no longer support it.
