SAP Connector Configuration based on PORT

Question asked by Jithesh Yatheendran Employee on Jul 20, 2017

We are in the process of creating SAP connectors for one of our customers and are facing challenges establishing the connection to their SAP system.   We are able to successfully test the connection for SAP ECC module

For other modules, like SAP BOQ, POD etc…. we are getting the error as below (screenshots attached)

===============

Connection error: Initialization of destination SettingsTest failed: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connection parameters: TYPE=A DEST=SettingsTest ASHOST=10.191.237.142 SYSNR=00 PCS=1 LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR partner '10.191.237.142:3300' not reached TIME Thu Jul 20 16:11:32 2017 RELEASE 721 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 40 RC -10 MODULE nibuf.cpp LINE 4658 DETAIL NiBufIConnect: connection pending after 60000ms SYSTEM CALL connect ERRNO 115 ERRNO TEXT Operation now in progress COUNTER 2

===============

Customer has advised to use PORT 6400 instead of 3300 but we do not have an option in SAP connector to configure the PORT.   Can we configure the PORT number at G&L end or is there any PORT configuration at SAP system where the customer can configure the PORT at their SAP systems?   (based on internal discussion it might be configured in driver jar)

SAP system number is 00

Any help on this is appreciated.
