My customer got RMA hardware token.
We tried to import it but we have no token record files.
Does token record comes with RMA token(like DVD)?
Or is there other way to import RMA tokens?
RSA will ship token seed media (CD) with RMA Token.
Required decryption of token seed before importing token records in to RSA AM, once token import user can set PIN and use that token as usual.
I have moved this thread to the RSA SecurID Access community so that you can get an answer to your question.
Thanks for your support.
I have one more question.
If my customer lost the media, what is the process to get another media?
Actually RSA have policy that they will hold Token records up to to 150 days in their system, Kindly log case with RSA support and check if they have or not, if it crosses 150 days , user have to buy new token.
Sorry to bother you, one last question.
So what you mean is if I lost Token records and cross 150 days, I have to buy new one even if that was RMA.
Do I understand correctly?
Either RMA or new purchase, RSA will hold the token records in their system up to 150 days from request date later token records will be deleted no more available, if you can request for replacement media with in that time frame you may get new media other wise have to buy new token
