I'm looking to create one or two custom reports on RSA.
I have the Public Schema Database Reference, which suggests that the correct way to do this is to use the ACMDB account, and build the report SQL based on the public synonyms created by the procedure acmdb.as_public_schema_user.init_synonyms - i.e. the friendly names for the underlying tables.
However, I have found numerous examples of reports where the SQL is executed under AVUSER and where the underlying tables are accessed directly.
Are either of there methods preferred, or considered to be "Best Practice"?
