We are looking to update the RSA Authentication Agent for Windows based systems in our environment to alleviate a few issues with our current version (7.3.1.43 to 7.3.3.103). However, when doing a test install I noticed that it removes all the Offline Days data in the process. Locking and unlock the computer will initiate a new request and the days will be downloaded. However, it would be possible that a laptop user receives the update and does not lock/unlock before leaving the office. In this situation they would be stuck. Is it possible to initiate a new Offline Days download request without the user locking/unlocking their workstation during an update?
Offline days require a proof ticket, and that can only be done with any successful use of the passcode. The RSA control center app test auth button can generate that proof, but the user is still going to need to use the token.
