RSA uses HTTPS for their raw data reports and requires PGP encryption to grab the reports from the site. We are currently having issues automatically grabbing the reports because of the question asked during decryption, "For your eyes only". And then, once we do open them, the data is published on screen and we are having issues transferring the data to a useable format.
Are other clients frustrated with this process? Would they support RSA moving to SFTP? We have asked for the product enhancement, but have been denied.
I am posing this to the user community for more support in moving RSA to SFTP.
Hi Carey,
I would like to provide some feedback to what you wrote.
We do support and want to use secure connection (https). The data is stored in our system (Azure blob storage) and we need to secure data at rest – as required by our security and legal.
It is not enough that we encrypt data in transfer, we need to secure data at rest as well.
I admit that not supporting the automatic process of decryption due to questions asked during the process is a bug, which is why we are planning to fix it as part of the upcoming patches, hopefully in Dec.
Thanks,
Michal
