Does RSA SecurID support Nutanix Acropolis HyperVisor (AHV) or are there any plans to as a virtualization platform in addition to ESXi or Hyper-V?
I would recommend submitting an idea to RSA Ideas for RSA SecurID Access, requesting that we investigate adding Nutanix to our list of supported platforms.
JOHN YI, Gary McLaughlin, Aaron Rhys,
Once you see the idea posted, vote for it. Our PM team reviews these ideas and if an idea hits a vote threshold, it may be included in a future release.
There are no current plans to support Nutanix Acropolis HyperVisor (AHV). Only current Virtual options are as you mentioned VMWare and Hyper-V, and if you consider hosted then Amazon Web Serivces , AWS just released in Feb. with the new version AM 8.3. There are plans to support Microsoft Azure in a future release, which is where our Access cloud is hosted.
'Not Supported' does not mean it won't work, but the risk is if you find a bug when running on Nutanix Acropolis HyperVisor (AHV), and that bug cannot be reproduced on VMWare or Hyper-V, there will be no commitment from RSA Engineering to try to fix that bug.
Any update on this or is RSA just not going to support AHV?
Same question as John ... many customers are moving away from on premise AND converged infrastructure - typically fill the gap with hyperconverged for cost effectiveness
I also would like an answer to this we are moving to a full nutanix AHV shop.
