When software tokens expire, can they be renewed, or must I purchase new ones?
The answer is - It Depends
Starting in AM8.2 we enabled the ability in the soft token profile to flag a token as extendable. If a token is deployed in 8.2 with that profile flag enabled it is now possible to replace the soft token license on the server with a new license without ever touching the server.
There is a new menu option in the token management page of the console that allows you to extend a token if the attributes are set to enabled
