But when it comes time to start AFX, I cannot. Logged in as root, I get a permissions error. Logged in as oracle, it appears to not know what the afx service is at all. The instruyc

If 'afx' is not a typo you can run the following command to lookup the package that contains the binary:
command-not-found afx
