RSA 8.1 SP 1 P3 with Linux Web Tier
Web Tier has an install account called rsawebusr, a admin account called rsawebadm and root
For whatever reason I don't have the pw to the install account and need to get it back, find out what it is or reset it
I have the pw for root. Is there a way to look it up, or re-set my install account. We will need it to re-install webtier during upgrades
As root you should be able to passwd userid and set a new password for userid.
"The install user must have execute permission for the folder into which the web tier is installed. "
The web tier does not need to know the password for userid. The web tier is installed by root, therefore it can immediately assume the role of the install user name you specify on install...[userid], no password needed.

Failing any of this, it is somewhat trivial to re-install the web tier. Get a new web tier package from the primary ops console, run the uninstaller on the web tier itself, manually delete any left-over web tier directories, then run the installer and give it the a) install username [of any local account that has permissions to the target directory] b) web tier package.
